Denis Haxhija
Born and raised in New York City, Denis Haxhija has gotten firsthand inspiration from various trips and cultural experiences, both at home and beyond. The primary theme of his work is "Faces & Places", a collection that brings together two powerful elements: the people we encounter and the spaces we inhabit, all through a variety of mediums over the course of several years. Denis' work has been featured in several physical and digital publications, and displayed at the Pequot Library in Connecticut, Mamaroneck Artists Guild, and the New York Public Library.
His keen eye for aesthetics and design also translates into his work within the Manhattan luxury real estate industry, where he is an associate at Brown Harris Stevens. A true man about town, he has taught art at a local learning center and has hosted sold-out paint & sip events. Outside the office and "studio", Denis loves to play tennis, travel, go on hikes, and find any excuse to gather friends and family together. A recent graduate of Manhattan College, he is already a heavily-involved alum and also volunteers much of his time & resources with various local non-profit organizations such as the Riverdale Main Streets Alliance, where he currently sits on the board.
